Girls‘ Project

Project Objectives

  • - To keep girls in schools during menstruation period.
  • - To help equip girls and ladies of the community with skills on how to make these re-usable pads.
  • - To promote menstrual Hygiene for girls in rural schools specifically Kyamulibwa Village.

  • The project was implemented in 4 schools in Kyamulibwa village on the 27th May 2022. The project was funded by KAP friends in Germany.

    Trainers were searched and obtained from a community which had benefited from a similar project by another organization.

    800 re-usable pads were given to 200 students. Each pack contains 4 re-usable pads and these benefited 50 students from each school.
