Keeping Girls in School, Transforming Young Lives, and Empowering Young Women
Kapuganda is committed to keeping girls in school, transforming young lives, and empowering young women to become confident, independent, and productive members of society. Through practical skills training, education, and community empowerment initiatives, Kapuganda works to address challenges that prevent girls from accessing and completing their education. Our key activities include: Reusable Sanitary Pad Making: Training girls to make affordable, reusable sanitary pads to promote menstrual hygiene, reduce school absenteeism, and equip them with valuable practical skills. Hygiene and Sanitation Education: Educating both girls and boys in schools about personal hygiene, menstrual health, and proper sanitation practices. Behavior Change and Life Skills: Promoting positive attitudes, responsible behavior, self-confidence, and healthy lifestyles among young people. Girls' Education and Empowerment: Encouraging girls to remain in school while equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to build better futures.
